They are also known for some of their software such as Safari web browser, iTunes media player, and there iLife and iWork software.
Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne on April 1, 1976 to develop and sell personal computers. They were first name Apple Computer, Inc. on January 3, 1997 and was renamed to Apple Inc. on January 9, 2007 to show they don’t only focus on computers.
OS X Mavericks (version 10.9) is the tenth major release of OS X, designed for Apple‘s desktop computers and servers operating system for Macintosh computers. OS X Mavericks was announced on June 10, 2013 and was later released on October 22, 2013. Which was and still is a free update through the Mac App Store.
